A series

Since I am not going to be able to take advantage of the photography course I was going to take this summer I'm thinking of doing a few series of photos.

Going to take my assignments that have been studied on the photo school tutorials. I'll try to do four photos a month that would make it one a week with time for me to download the photo.

First subject assignment to be Abandoned =
a⋅ban⋅doned   /əˈbændənd/ [uh-ban-duhnd] –adjective 1. forsaken or deserted: an abandoned building; an abandoned kitten. 2. unrestrained or uncontrolled; uninhibited: They danced with abandoned enthusiasm. 3. utterly lacking in moral restraints; shameless; wicked: an abandoned and dissolute ruler.

Now I gotta squeeze out four photos in a short time................that's OK cause I really need some practice other than beautiful vistas I've been shooting. So y'all might be seeing some funky shots but I'll be sure to follow with explanations.

straight out of the camera you can see the colors are just weird

First up..............when we were in Bisbee Arizona a few months ago while driving out of town we went by the Lavender Open Pit Copper Mine. Got out of the truck and discovered the whole area was surrounded by a very high fence, so I stuck my lens thru a small hole in the fence and took the shot of this abandoned mine. Actually I'm not so sure it's going to be abandoned for long, word is they could start up production again. Must go read up on that cause this mine has a bit of sentiment to it for me and Mr Doodles, almost 39 years ago we were married over looking that mine.

So starting out with a photo of this abandoned Lavender Open Pit Copper Mine is a bit nostalgic.

stay tuna'd

What an odd photo? Is that black area a hole? Water? It makes the photo quite interesting whether you know or not.

Looking forward to the other three.

It's a build up of water I'm thinking, since the Mine closed in 72 I think.
